New Arbor!

E did a beautiful job on this arbor. Now we have something to train the honeysuckle on!

The Fountain!

I love to fill the fountain with water at the beginnng of the season! It invites the birds to come and have a bath and a drink and we enjoy watching them!

We moved the arbor from the front yard to the backyard because, E wanted something diferent in the front yard and the arbor we had in the back was blown over by the wind last year and ruined. The trumpet vine we have in the back yard was broken only a few feet from the ground and it needed something to grow up, so we moved the arbor.

E is now making a new arbor for the honeysuckle vine to climb up in the front yard. We planted the honeysuckle one of the first years we were in the house and it has grown up a tripod of sticks, then the arbor, and now it is just on the ground. It will be great to have it growing up a arbor again!

Mowed the Lawn!

I mowed the lawn for the first time this year! I also took the hand trimmers to the edging and, if I do say so myself, it lookes great!

Pea's!

I love to plant pea's and eat them when I am working in the garden. I know spring is on the way when I plant pea's. When they start to come up you know it is here, Spring!

I just soaked them in he morning and planted them in the afternoon.

Cleaning up Strawberry Bed!

I really needed to get to the back flower bed and clean it up. I put to much bagged manure on this bed last year so it burned alot of my strawberry plants. I had to clean that up and I also pulled up the iris and only kept a fan of leaves. It lookes much better.

I plantes Peppermint in another spot and it is trying to take over so I need to put some in a pot and take care of the rest!
